Evidence, Confidence, and Review

Partglyph should explain captured product data as evidence, not as magic form filling.

Core concepts:

  • A field value can come from user text, file extraction, OCR, LLM extraction, canonical lookup, retrieval, or review override.
  • Confidence is attached to field values and can block readiness when too low.
  • Review is required before matching cost is spent.
  • Preserved evidence must be reviewed before confirmation.
  • Partglyph uses product-specific rules to decide which fields are visible, editable, required, optional, or system-managed.

User confirmation currently requires:

  • reviewed_inputs
  • reviewed_preserved_evidence
  • understand_match_cost
