Read the result class and the candidate’s explanations before using its score. A higher score does not overcome a failed or unconfirmed required interface.

Class	How to read it
DROP_IN	The matcher has confirmed the applicable direct-replacement obligations for the candidate. Read any accompanying instructions and restrictions.
FIT_OR_BETTER	Direct-replacement obligations are confirmed and the matcher identifies a qualifying improvement. Read the result’s stated basis.
CONDITIONAL	A required confirmation remains unresolved. Review the specific checks shown for that candidate.
REJECT	A mandatory requirement failed or an unauthorized physical change is required. Rejected diagnostics are separate from recommended alternatives.

Comparison coverage describes the assessed comparisons; it is not a probability of fit. Optional information not supplied or unavailable does not by itself imply a rejected candidate. The original reference is not shown as its own replacement.

If the request has a real input conflict or lacks a usable coupling-side definition, the search can stop and ask for clarification instead of returning candidate results. A completed search with no suitable alternatives is a different outcome.
